plzz help me
i have some problem 'bout grammar and the way to use it,i don't know when am i gonna use ( simple past,past perfect or present continous) in a speech,somebody told me that,i could use simple past in a speech that have a story details,but i don't know what does it mean,in the brightness way,i want to learn more 'bout english and my passion just coming when i came to www.hellochao.vn,i hope every body could fix my speech and turn it more perfectly

You can use it :
_An action happened in the past , finished and you know the time exactly
(eg: He died in 1980)
_When telling a story (or fairy tales)
_There is no sign in a sentence. (Such as : My morther TOLD me i shouldn't watch TV so long)
_ In WISH sentence ( eg: I wish I were a pilot / He wishes his father came back to life again)
*SIGN*: last week/month/year, yesterday....
PAST PERFECT : S+ had V3/ed ( dịch là TIỀN QUÁ KHỨ cho dễ dùng. "Tiền" là trước, xảy ra trước quá khứ ^^)
_An action had happened before the past or an action happening in the past
Eg: + We had lived in Cao Lanh city before 2000
+ When I got up this morning, my father had already left
+ After I have finished my homework, I went to bed
(better way: After having finished my homework, I went to bed)
_present perfect is used in reported speech
Eg: "I have told you that secret"
===> She said that She had told you that secret
*SIGN*:(tựa tựa như thì Present perfect) : already,yet, just, up to then, since, for
&&& Note: S + had v3/ed since S + V2/ed
PRESENT CONTINUOUS : S+ am/is/are +V-ing
_Use when you see the *SIGN*: now, right now, at the moment, at present....
_A plan , an intendance
Eg: +He is coming next week
+I'm showing you tomorrow
You may use "I'm going to show you tomorrow" , that's OK...Maybe, "I will show you tomorrow" but i think 2 sentences above are the better and more popular ways
"Will" is used when u decide to do immidiately without thinking or making a plan
Such as : A: I don't know how can i get there with my broken leg
B: Don't worry. I will give you a ride !
