For students, Part time job is not only a chance but also a challenge. Why I say that.?

Nowadays, more and more studens are seeking a suitable part-time job. For example, If you are studying foreign language, you find out a job relating to your major such as translator, interpreting, tourist guide, tutor... Or If you want to improve your communication skills, you'll find a work as a waiter/waitress, st likes that:)

It will help you get more life experiences, earn money, have more relationship... You'll become more mature, confident, and practical because they are usefull lessons from life. That's why I say it will bring you chances :D

However, any coin has two sides. You should look out for cheats and frauds. I used to be a "victim" of them. But they are small poblems. The most important thing is you must control you time to balance betwwen your study and work. Ofcourse your study is the priority.I know some cases forgot their main target to only focus on earning money.

These are some of my advices. I hope it will help you partly.

I'm a student,but I have never had a part-time job :(.

because I afraid about its challenges,as you say.But the main reason is that I'm very lazy.

After read your advices,I think I will seek a part-time job for myself,waiter-for example^^

Waiter is one of the most popular types of part-time job the students choose.

Adv: - not high demand ( no degree) -> not complex

- quite interesting

- Improve yr communication skill, patience..

Dis:- Low salary

- Work pressure

Thank you very much for your advices. I agreed with you about that part time jobs are not only apportunities but also challenges for anyone.I used to work part time. I taucht for students of grades 2,10,11;participated business season on holidays. I had many experiences from them. I matured than before.I confident on  your self , have many relationships.Now I don't work part time because I very busy for studing at school. But experiences will help me on your future works.

it can improve your knowledge value of money because insteading of using money which is supported from your parents you can earn and use your money. it is very important for youth that might promote them have real action for their life!

I am on work, I used to be a tutor when i was student. I would like to share my opinions about part-time job as below:

I agree with Mss Thao about her ideas that part-time job is either a chance or challenge. However, before you decide to seek a part-time job you should consider the followings:

- How about your studying pressure? whether it is hard or not?

- What kind of part-time job is suitable for your major? this is important because if you choose suitably, your part-time job will be able to create useful skill for your job.

- Do you arrange or control all things if you have a part-time job (Note that you should focus on your main target)

- Do you like to challenge yourself?

Of course, No pain no gain, if you plant a tree, you will have a sweet fruit. there are your matureness, life experiences, unforgetable memories.
