1. Cách nói này có vẻ cá biệt và người nói (viết) ở nơi không phải TA mẹ đẻ. "research studies" giống 1 thứ "hoa hòe hoa sói" cho nó rổn rảng. Có lẽ như kiểu "nghiên cứu điều tra" của người Việt.

2. "down in Los Angeles" kiểu như nói kháy "khả kính" của VN(?).

@ NGUYEN HUY CUONG : Nếu trí nhớ của mình không có vấn đề thì đoạn văn này do A.J Hogue viết trong Effortless English. Ông ta dạy AV ở San Francisco (phía bắc ban Cali) trong khi LA ở phía nam Cali vì vậy dùng down in LA.

research studies là số nhiều của research study = khảo sát nghiên cứu (nghiên cứu dựa trên khảo sát, phân tích, tổng hợp... nhiều phần tử riêng lẽ để rút ra kết luận chung)
