It was lunchtime , Greg Radcliffe was sitting outside the Mersey coffee when two men ran out of the bank in Hight Street. One of them was carrying a large bag of money, which they had stolen from the bank. A bank clerk was trying to stop them. Greg got up and ran across the road. He grabbed the bag from the robber and ran away as fast as he could. The two men were shocked and immediately ran after him. Greg thought quickly and turned left into London Road, but the bag was heavy and it was slowing him down.
