Causes and solutions of bad behavior students
Bad student behavior has been a matter of concern in many countries. The following statements explain the causes and possible solutions to this problem.
Lack of parents' attention is the first reason to consider. Nowadays, most families lead a modern lifestyle, in which both parents go to work. Being busy and stressed at work make them hardly have time or energy to communicate with their children. Therefore, students do not have many chances to express their thoughts and feelings so that their parents can understand them and teach them right from wrong. For example, dinner is a time for a child to tell their mom and dad what happened during the day, then she is shown what is better to do in some situations in her stories. Unfortunately, modern families seldom have dinner together any longer.
The internet, along with various kinds of entertainment it brings, is another factor mainly contributing to students' misbehaving. Today it is becoming easier for students in most countries to access the internet. Here lies the problem. Since people can find anything on the internet, students are likely to expose themselves to inappropriate contents. For instance, students playing violent games can get addicted and act violently in real life; or they may go on websites about sex to satisfy their curiosity, especially for teenage students, and after that, try to do the same thing.
Possible solutions can be seen from the reasons above. First, as parents are often the best teachers and the closest ones to their children, so they should set aside time to listen to and talk with their kids however busy they are. Love and understanding from parents give students a positive outlook on life and accordingly, they are likely to treat others in a positive way. Second, schools can organize classes or activities about how to use the internet effectively. Specifically, they can introduce interesting websites for academic reference and entertainment suitable for their students. In addition, they can offer students such social activities as helping the poor or making the environment in their town cleaner. In that way students learn about responsibility and how to live harmoniously with others in their community in a natural and fun way.
In conclusion, parents' care and the use of the internet can greatly affect the way students behave. It is necessary that both family and school take action to solve the problem of misbehaving among students.
