Middle school romance
Why can't middle school kids just make one another happy and not have to feel like they're suddenly romance "experts"? Whenever I meet a teenage girl who likes being around a guy, her first instinct is to think: "Oh God, I must be in love." And then for the next few months, it's just incessant wall posts back and forth, saying, "I love you, babe ;)" Like they're so eager to be grown-up.
It's as sickening as watching a 13-year-old drink or cuss. A kid's vices should be limited to picking his nose and still playing with stuffed animals, not getting high and making out. I'd much, much rather see the former than the latter.
The worst kind of immaturity is the kind that masquerades as actual maturity.
